Nestled atop the beautiful mesas below the Jemez Mountains, Los Alamos Golf Course offers a challenging 6500 yard par 72, 18 hole layout. Through a multitude of ponderosa pines and cottonwood trees the sloping fairways and small push-up greens provide a challenge to all levels of golfers.
This beautifully maintained golf course, built in 1947 by the Atomic Energy Commission, is the second oldest 18 hole golf course in New Mexico. Owned and operated by the County of Los Alamos, the community is proud of its unique municipal course with such tremendous golfing value.
Panoramic vistas and clear, fresh mountain air at an elevation of 7300 feet, provide a beautiful setting to beat the summer heat and enjoy an unforgettable golfing experience.

Los Alamos offers you an easy monthly payment plan for your season pass purchase. After a down payment, your balance is divided into 5 equal payments. These are drafted from your bank account monthly so you can concentrate on your game and not worry about the payments.

The Snack Bar provides snacks, beverages, breakfast items and sandwiches during golfing hours. Refreshing beer and wine is also served and must be consumed on the premises. Catering for tournaments is also available.
We provide a full line of quality golf merchandise, equipment and club repair. Please stop in and browse.
Lessons are available from our Pros, Dennis McCloskey & Donnie Torres at $35 for a 30 minute session, as well as from our PGA Assistant Michael Phillips at $30. Group lessons & clinics will also be available. Video lessons are available.

open March through November, sun-up to sundown, 7 days a week, weather
permitting. Tee time reservations are
available by calling the Pro Shop at 662-8139, 1 day in advance for weekdays
& for Weekends and Holidays by
calling between 7:00pm to 7:45pm the Tuesday prior.
